La Falaise

My last day in France (and last day in Hostiaz) was all about la falaise. To get there from Hostiaz, we had to take a walk.

The sun was shining on the countryside.

The landscape of the mountains never disappoints.

This horse, nicknamed Noix de Coco, or Coco Chocolat, depending on which child you asked, came out to play.

We walked for 45 minutes. It felt like no time had passed at all.

Finally, we arrived at la falaise. Pay attention! La falaise, in French, means a cliff.

From the cliffside we saw the village of Tenay, nestled in the valley.

What a way to spend my last full day in France.
