Medicine

“The practice of medicine is an art, not a trade;

a calling, not a business;

a calling in which your heart will be exercised equally with your head.”

— Dr. William Osler

It’s currently our second look weekend for the prospective first years here at Hopkins. Since Thursday, we’ve opened up our homes and hearts to the 160 or so students who have been admitted to the Hopkins Med Class of 2016. It’s been busy, that’s for sure. But it’s also been fun and refreshing to have fresh new faces walking around campus.

The posts on travel are still to come. I’ve got plenty of stories, but those are just going to have to wait until my life calms down a little bit more.
